How to unlock Song Master after purchasing

After purchasing Song Master, you will be able to unlock the Song Master version you already have installed. You do not need to download and install Song Master again unless you want to.

Display the authorization dialog box​

If Song Master is currently running, you can get to the authorization dialog from the Help menu:

You can also click the Unlock... button when Song Master is first started:

Authorization dialog​

In the Authorization dialog, enter your email address and password that you used to purchase Song Master on our website and click Register:

We will then verify the purchase for the email address and password, and unlock all the features of Song Master!

Trouble Registering/Unlocking?​

If you are having problems unlocking Song Master, then 99.9999% of the reason is due to one of the following two cases:

Number One Reason​

First, check that you have downloaded and are running the Song Master version you purchased (either the Pro version or the non-pro version). The Pro and non-Pro versions and different apps so your email and password will only be able to unlock the one you purchased.

You can check the window's title bar or About box and it should contain "Song Master Pro" when running the Pro version and "Song Master" for the non-pro version. If not, download and install the version of Song Master you purchased and you should be good to go.

Forgot/Reset Password​

If you are sure you are running the correct purchased version, then make sure that you use your email address and the password you used when creating your account on our website.

If you are not sure of your password you can reset it by going to our website and clicking the person icon at the top right of the menu bar:

If it auto-logs in, click sign-out, then click forgot your password? and create a new password.
